NLNG says Shell's Soku gas plant resumes supply, force majeure remains in place

Nigeria LNG (NLNG) said it has started to receive supplies from Shell’s Soku gas plant in Rivers state, which has been closed for over four months after theives tapped into the plant’s two condensate export pipelines. “Gas production started yesterday and is ramping up quickly. I would say it’s at around 65% capacity now,” a NLNG spokeswoman told reporters. The spokeswoman added that the force majeure was still in place.
