Australasia - Upstream North West Shelf Venture completes Angel platform and aims to operate fifth LNG train by Q4 2008

Australian company Woodside Petroleum Ltd, operators of the North West Shelf venture, announced that it had completed the A$1.6 billion ($1.48 billion) Angel gas platform, located off the Western Australian coast, “on time and under budget”. Woodside said that it was likely to start operating its fifth North West Shelf venture LNG train in Q4 2008, as planned.
