US OIL & GAS: Output and rig count steadying (22 June 2015)

US oil and gas production edged lower last week, but maintained year-on-year growth, amid a largely stable rig count, according to data from the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) and oil services group Baker Hughes. The US gas rig count was rangebound at 223 units as of Friday, one unit higher than the running 12-week average, data from Baker Hughes show. The count has fluctuated between 217-225 since mid-April amid generally rising output.
