US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has rejected calls by environmental group Sierra Club to re-evaluate an expansion permit issued to Cheniere’s Sabine Pass LNG project, according to reports. In April, FERC approved Cheniere to build two new liquefaction units – trains five and six – at the southern Louisiana LNG plant.
