LNG pipeline developers strike initial settlement with Canadian First Nations government

The Prince Rupert Gas Transmission (PRGT) project, a 900-km pipeline scheme which would connect gas resources in the Canadian province of British Columbia to the country’s west coast has been backed by one of the indigenous groups whose land the pipeline would cross following the reaching of a financial settlement deal late last week between the two parties.
