BG Group finalises 20-year supply contract with India’s GSPC

BG Group has finalised a 20-year supply contract for up to 2.5 mtpa of LNG from 2015 onwards with Indian gas distributor Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC), the company said on Wednesday. It will initially supply 1.25 mtpa of LNG with the potential to increase this to 2.5 mtpa after two years, with the gas sourced from BG’s global production portfolio.
