摘要

As the pressure mounts on the Iranian government to respond to an UN-drafted nuclear deal that could feasibly ease tensions with the US and Europe, Reza Kasaiezadeh the head of Iran’s National Gas Export Company (NIGEC) has said that the company is holding talks on potential gas exports routes to Europe. Kasaiezadeh, unsurprisingly, did not give details of who NIGEC is holding talks with but said that possible pipeline routes to Europe included transiting Azerbaijan, as well as Iraq and Syria.
