US company Chicago Bridge and Iron wins contract for Chinese Fujian LNG terminal

Chicago Bridge and Iron (CB&I) has won the contract from CNOOC to expand China’s Fujian province LNG terminal. CB&I said the value of the contract was confidential. The company said the deal covered engineering, procurement and construction services for two additional full containment LNG storage tanks each with a capacity of 160 Mcm. The project is scheduled for completion in 2011.
