Gazprom looks for additional Nord Stream financing guarantees, reports say

Revenue-hit Gazprom is reportedly seeking guarantees from Italy's export credit agency (ECA), SACE, for financing of the ?7.4 billion ($9.4 billion) Nord Stream gas pipeline. The Russian company has asked SACE to increase its existing guarantees for the development of the sub-sea pipeline from ?1 billion ($1.36 billion) to ?1.7 billion and provide additional guarantees of ?440 million for the construction of the inland line, Russian business daily, Kommersant reported.
