Shut-off avoided as Naftogaz pays in full and on time for February gas supplies

Gazprom confirmed yesterday that Ukrainian state energy company Naftogaz Ukrainy, had paid its debt in full for February deliveries, just hours after Russian prime minister Vladimir Putin warned that Moscow may be forced to halt supplies if Ukraine did not pay its bill by March 7.
