Yamal LNG passes financial and construction milestones

The Yamal LNG project on Russia’s central-north coast is advancing steadily, having met its annual construction targets and successfully issued RUB 75 billion (USD 1.16 billion) of 15-year bonds, project partners said this week. Engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) firm Technip confirmed that construction activities on the project - the largest the company is currently working on - are on schedule.
