BG’s Finlayson walks the plank

It would be unfair to compare BG Group's Chris Finlayson to Manchester United's late but largely unlamented manager David Moyes. But in terms of impatient shareholders and a twitchy board, there may be some telling similarities. Both presided over a fairly shocking year of results. But where Moyes failed to motivate his team, spent money on hugely poorly performing assets like Everton's midfielder Marouane Fellaini, Finlayson was burned by a situation in Egypt far beyond his control.
