A task force of community leaders in Fairbanks, Alaska have published a report calling on state authorities to take the lead on gas infrastructure projects and to be flexible in considering liquefaction facilities to meet local energy needs.A priority review of “in-state use of natural gas is the most urgent energy issue facing Alaskans today,” said Senate Co-chairs Lesil McGuire, R-Anchorage, and Bill Wielechowski, D-Anchorage recently.
