General Electric has won a $300 million contract for works on an east-west natural gas pipeline in China, lifting the total value of GE’s order book in China to more than $600 million, the company announced today."Pipelines are a big business for us in China," Joe Mastrangelo, vice president of GE's oil and gas unit, was reported as saying. GE’s contracted works on Chinese pipelines include the east-west gas link and a pipeline from Sichuan to Shanghai.
