FEATURE: Mozambique’s progress towards becoming an LNG exporter

Two consortia, led separately by US firm Anadarko and Italy’s Eni, are developing two offshore concessions in the Rovuma Basin, northeast Mozambique, and plan to monetize the reserves through on- and offshore LNG projects. The consortia are scheduled to take final investment decisions this year. Gas Strategies looks at Mozambique’s progress towards becoming an LNG exporter.
