Gazprom’s H1 operating profit slumps by 25% year-on-year

Russian gas giant Gazprom has posted a 25% year-on-year fall in its H1 operating profit, recording RUB 639.65 billion (USD 15.59 billion) compared with RUB 853.0 billion the year before, despite total sales for the group of gas, power and heat energy rising 11.9% from RUB 2,568.1 billion to RUB 2,873.9 billion over the same period.
