Novatek wins LNG project finance MoU from quartet of Chinese banks

Russian independent Novatek this week signed an MoU with four Chinese banks for financing of its $20 billion Yamal LNG project. The deal was signed after China's state-owned CNPC took a 20% interest in the project earlier this year.
