CNOOC ups its stake in QCLNG to 50%

CNOOC and BG Group have closed a deal which will see the Chinese company increase its stake in Train 1 of the QCLNG project from 10 to 50% for $1.93 billion, and purchase a further 5 mtpa of LNG from BG for a 20-year period starting in 2015.
