KOGAS agrees to buy more Qatari LNG

South Korea’s KOGAS has agreed to purchase an additional 2 mtpa of LNG for the next 20 years from Qatar’s RasGas starting from 2013, the two companies said on Thursday. KOGAS already has a deal in place to receive 7 mtpa of LNG on a long-term basis and 1 mtpa of incremental spot cargoes.
