Workers killed in PetroChina LNG storage tank accident

The planned 2011 start-up of PetroChina’s Rudong LNG terminal in Jiangsu province may be delayed after eight workers were killed and five injured on Tuesday when a storage tank collapsed.The incident occurred during construction works at the terminal and was caused by the drop of a block of steel mesh reinforcement from one of the gas storage tanks, the Jiangsu provincial government in eastern China said Tuesday.
