BG completes sale of stake in UK North Sea CATS pipeline

BG has wrapped up the sale of its 62.78% stake in the Central Area Transmission System (CATS) gas pipeline and associated infrastructure in the UK North Sea to Antin Infrastructure Partners for approximately ￡562 million ($895 million), the UK major said on Friday. The deal will see BG receive an initial payment of ￡523 million followed by a deferred amount of up to ￡39 million, its statement detailed.
