Technip awarded FEED contract for Iraqi NGL project

Technip along with China HuanQiu Contracting & Engineering Corporation (HQC) have been awarded a FEED contract by Basra Gas Company (BGC) for the Ar Ratawi natural gas liquids train 1 project at North Rumaila in Basra Province, Iraq. Under the contract Technip will develop the basic engineering design package of the NGL process units, utilities and submit an EPC package. The company will submit its project plan to Basra Gas by the end of 2014.
