South America - LNG Petrobras to decide on third planned floating LNG regasification terminal in southern Brazil in July

Petrobras has said it will decide in July on the location for its third planned floating regasification terminal, adding that it will probably be built in one of the country's southern states, either Santa Catarina or Rio Grande do Sul. The planned terminal will have a capacity of 7 MMcm/d, Petrobras gas and energy director Maria das Gra?as Foster said at a gas summit in S?o Paulo. Foster indicated that power plants in Brazil's southern states and "other markets" will be the primary market for the terminal.
