Middle East - GTL Sasol: it could be next year till Oryx reaches capacity

It could be 2009 before Sasol’s Oryx GTL plant in Qatar is running at full capacity. Speaking to reporters, Sasol CEO Pat Davies said he expected the facility would reach its 34,000 b/d target during the company’s next fiscal year which begins in July. A spokesman confirmed to Gas Matters Today this is the schedule Sasol is working towards, but conceded “we can’t give a more definite date at this stage”.
