Europe - Companies E.ON Ruhrgas completes sixth auction of contracted gas

E.ON Ruhrgas has auctioned the last 33 Billion TWh (3 Bcm) of a total of 200 TWh, completing one of its obligations to the German Ministry of Economics as a condition of E.ON's acquisition of Ruhrgas in 2002. Since 2003, E.ON Ruhrgas has annually auctioned one-sixth of the 200TWh every May, with the latest auction taking place at the Waidhaus delivery point on the Czech-German border. Waidhaus has hosted three auctions in total, with the remaining auctions being held at the Emden delivery point, on the Dutch border.
