Three of the ‘Big Six’ energy suppliers to British household consumers have announced price reductions within a day of each other. But, almost inevitably, in an industry where price comparisons between suppliers can be tortuously difficult for consumers, two reductions were in the price of gas and the other in the price of electricity, making comparisons for dual-fuel customers taking gas and electricity difficult.
