East Asia - LNG BG signs 20 year LNG supply agreement with CAPCO

BG Group expanded its global LNG supply portfolio today when it announced that its BG LNG Trading (BGLT) subsidiary had signed a LNG Heads of Agreement with Castle Peak Power Company (CAPCO). BG will supply 1 mtpa of LNG for 20 years to CAPCO's planned Hong Kong LNG terminal on South Soko Island . Deliveries are expected to start in 2012 when the terminal is likely to be completed.
