The award of the drill-rig contract to Klemm represents the first large order won by a European company since 1999, when the Panama Canal was restored to Panama KLEMM Bohrtechnik has delivered fourstate-of-the-art drill rigs to deepen and enlarge the famous Panama Canal with blasting boreholes. Through its participation on an international tender, Klemm Bohrtechnik was awarded the 19 million US dollars order.
