Liebherr aids Bugis MRT dig

SOLETANCHE Bachy is using four Liebherr HS 855 HD duty-cycle crawler cranes to excavate the trenches for the slurry wall forming part of the new Bugis station on Singapore's Downtown underground Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) line. Soletanche Bachy has two further contracts for stations and tunnelling work on the Downtown line, currently using an HS 855 HD and HS 852 HD. Awaiting delivery of another HS 855 HD and an HS 845 HD will bring the total fleet of Liebherr crawler cranes being used for the first phase of the entirely underground Downtown Line (DTL1) to eight units.
