Drilling begins for Dutch offshore wind farm scheme

The construction of the new offshore wind farm Eneco Luchterduinen began last month, with the first official drilling taking place on October 10. The new project is a joint venture between energy company Eneco and Japan's Mitsubishi Corporation. The project's 43 windmills will be located 23km off the coast of the cities Noordwijk and Zandvoort, Netherlands.
