摘要

Flavonoids are a group of polyphenolic compounds that include a common benzo-y-pyrone structure and commonly found in fruits, vegetables, tea and red wines. Flavonoids are classed as flanones, flavonols, flavanones, isoflavanones, anthocyanidins, catechins and so on. Among the flavonoids, flavanones and fiavan-3-ols have a structural characteristic known as chirality.
