摘要

Was the December UN climate change conference in Copenhagen (C0P15) a resounding disaster? After 14 days of intense negotiation world leaders failed to conjure up any legally binding accord, but the summit has still undoubtedly had a powerful impact on the mindset of the international community. And while governments bicker over who is ultimately to blame for the disappointing results many businessmen, local politicians and NGOs across the globe have increased their focus on the need to reduce greenhouse gas (6HG) emissions and find a practicable solution to moving towards a less carbon-intensive future.
