Determinate tomato mutant lines, developed through callus ir-radiation with gamma rays (~(60)Co), determinate lines created by conventionalbreeding methods and F1 hybrids between them were characterized by deter-mining of the fruit index, average weight, dry matter and lycopene content, itsinheritance in F1 hybrids, as well as the level of heterosis expression for earli-ness and total productivity. Manifestation of positive heterosis effect in totalproductivity with overdominant inheritance in all F1 hybrid combinations stu-died was established. Intermediate to overdominant inheritance of the F1 hybridearliness to the earlier parental line was registered depending on the hybridcombination. The results suggest that the inheritance of the lycopene contentin the fruits of the studied F1 hybrids is overdominant to the superior or over-dominant to the low level content parental genotype. Determinate F1 tomatohybrids for processing favourably combining total productivity, early yield,high lycopene content and fruit quality are differentiated.
