摘要

Data concerning the development of the tomato hybrid El-ena prima and a comparative assessment for the main economically im-portant characteristics are presented. The hybrid was developed through the heterosis method of plant selection crossing parental lines that were obtained by complicated hybridization, mass genotype selection and in-dividual selection. Both parental lines and the hybrid are characterized in detail. High yield, fruit transportability, long shelf-life, size and flavor are efficiently combined in the hybrid. It is equally suitable for middle-early and late cultivation in the field without trellis. The fruits may be used fresh or after processing. The hybrid is a contribution to tomato gene fund and will improve tomato determinate cultivar structure ac-celerating market rhythmic supply with tomato stuff.
