Highly qualified most likely to work for free

YOUNG JOBSEEKERS are more likely to accept unpaid work to get on the career ladder the higher the level of qualifications they have achieved, according to research from recruitment firm Adecco. The research showed that 49 per cent of all young people are willing to work for free, contradicting accusations that they are an 'entitled generation'. Almost half (4-7 per cent) of 16 to 24-year-olds surveyed said they would do any job available with 95 per cent believing there is a stigma attached to being unemployed.
