Omni-tradespeople are needed to solve the gas skills shortage

It is widely acknowledged that the gas industry, as with so much of British industry, is staring down the barrel of a skills shortage. With an ageing workforce, the industry is scratching its head as to how to attract a younger generation with the necessary skills, knowledge and competencies. I believe, however, that the solutions already exist; indeed some of them are right under our noses and already being used to great effect in the wider energy and utilities market.
