Ukraine and Poland look at expanding interconnection

THE TRANSMISSION system operators of Poland and Ukraine have agreed to Look at expanding reverse-flow capacity between the two nation's networks as a means of boosting supply security. Warsaw-based Gaz-System and its counterpart Ukrtransgaz will prepare a feasibility study on increasing throughput capacity from the current maximum of 1.5 billion cubic metres per year.
