摘要

In mass transit the cost of vandalism is growing by 11 percent a year, according to a survey sponsored by the Federal Transit Authority. Recent news reports from the US and Great Britain tell of attacks against passing buses, with windows smashed and other destruction. Buses have been vandalized as they are parked at night. One way to protect windows and riders is a strong glazing for use in transit windows. Markken Plastics in Bethlehem, PA produces cut-to-size, ready to install windows of a polycarbon composite for the mass transportation market.
