Geostaff SURVEY 2005

Geostaff is a specialist recruitment agency, focused on the placement of professionals in the mining industry. Each year as a service to our clients, both employer companies and candidates, Geostaff conducts a survey. Over the years we have been asked to comment on salaries being paid to mining professionals. While our experience in the placement of mining personnel allows us to do so, we prefer to comment based on the results of this project. This year in conjunction with the GSSA we are aiming to increase the participation of Geologists. The project results are reflected in a number of salary tables. The second outcome of the project is a demographic matrix that looks at the extent to which the various racial groups are represented in industry.
