Quality assurance and proficiency testing

The document, International Harmonized Protocol for Proficiency Testing of (Chemical) Analytical Laboratories, was first reviewed in May of 1991 at the joint AOAC/ISO/ IUPAC meeting on the "Harmonization of Quality Assurance Systems in Chemical Analysis" held in Geneva, Switzerland. The document was revised and subsequently approved at a meeting of the "Working Party" held in Delft, the Netherlands, in May of 1992.
