The world dairy situation: a world of challenge for the dairy industry

Even if, compared to other sectors in the agri-food business, truly international trade in dairy products is small (it corresponds to less than 8% of the milk produced worldwide) and if, as shown by recent IDF work, it has tended to become regional, it nevertheless represents considerable stakes for a few countries (above all Europe and Oceania) and a few products.
