New Product highlights from LabAuto 2004: Companies Launch Variety of Systems and Products

The San Jose McEnery convention center hosted the recent "Lab Automation" meeting, a conference and exhibition of emerging laboratory technologies. Attendees had the opportunity to go to numerous short courses and technical sessions, as well as the exhibition floor that showcased over 300 booths. A number of exhibiting companies launched new products. PcrkinElmer (Wellesley, MA) exhibited ten automated systems for liquid-handling, cellular imaging, assays systems, plate readers, arid other detectionsystems that are designed to increase the productivity and performance of life science laboratories.
