摘要

This collection of 6 papers deals with various aspects and strategies of soil protection in Italy. The papers describe the systematization of landslide movement in Monteacuto delle Alpi (Italy); protection and reclamation of a river bank; control ofwater and recuperation of clayey areas; the role of irrigation in the management of drainage works: the experience in areas between the Sillaro torrent and Lamone river; the use of GIS for the parameterization of unstable centres: the Villa Minozzo village; and soil protection and application of natural engineering techniques.
