GSSA AWARDS 2000

Each year the Geological Society recognises outstanding achievements both long-term contributions and for specific accomplishments - through a number of awards. Some of these are restricted to members of the Society, others not. The presentation of these awards is an important function of the GSSA's Annual General Meeting - the following awards were presented at this year's AGM (see photographs on page 5).
