Oil trends: India: IOC-IBP merger delayed

The merger of Indian Oil Corp (IOC) and IBP Co Ltd will be completed in early 2005. Although the merger has been approved, financial losses at IBP during the first half of the current fiscal year would have affected the swap ratio between IOC and IBP shares, thus the merger was delayed.
