RWE Dea has been given the green light by theNorwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) to drillexploration well 6507/7-15 S in ProductionLicence 435 (PL 435).The well will be drilled by the West Alpha rig.The area in this licence consists of parts ofBlocks 6507/7 and 6507/8. The well will be drilledabout 13km northwest of the Heidrun field andabout 30km north of ?sgard.
