摘要

The group IV compound containing ligands such as a pi-cyclopentadienyl,a chloride,and a bidentate beta-diketonate presents an interesting opportunity to examine the properties of the three classes of ligands.The preparation of the CpM(IV)Cl(beta-diketonato)_2 complex has been reported from Cp_2MCl_2 (M = Ti,Zr) with beta-diketone (beta-diketone = 2,4-pentanedione,l-phenyl-butane-l,3-dione,l,3-diphenyl-l,3-propanedione) with or without triethylamine.
