UAN markets continue to be boosted by the US

Gains in UAN values have been witnessed in Egypt, Black Sea and the US. Prices for Egyptian tonnage destined for the US were boosted by $10/mt from December 2016. Some of this is due to improved US fundamentals for corn, that increasingly support spring nutrient applications. Helm bought most of the 25,000 mt UAN-32 available from Abu Qir's at the producer's asking price of $170/mt FOB, up from sales in early December at $160/mt FOB.
