In university, community, and clinical settings, the ACES showed high internal reliability (coefficient alpha = 0.89-0,92) In the university and community settings, the ACES showed significant correlation with the BHS, the RSE scale, and the URICA scale (p<0 01) In addition, in the community study the ACES showed significant correlation with the BDI-II scale (p<0,01), but no significant correlation with the BAI. In people with generalised anxiety disorder, the ACES also significantly correlated with self-esteem (p<0.05) and hopelessness (p<0 01).
