Credit or debit? Transit agencies test bank cards as fare collection option

Riders on Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) ski bus can pay their fare with a contactless debit/credit card this winter season. The UTA ski bus accepts Express Pay from American Express, Pay Pass from MasterCard and contactless Visa. With a simple touch of the card to the reader, the USD3 fare automatically charges to the rider's credit card account. Multiple touches post multiple fares.
